The brief
Validus, a multinational company, brought more than 80 of its Diamond Club members to Heritance Aarah in Raa Atoll for a five-day retreat. Members are spread across the world; the point was to put them on one island and let them meet properly. Over five days the programme ran from conferences and private meetings to music, dance, art, excursions and virtual gatherings. Ikebana Maldives designed and produced the retreat: minimal settings that sat inside the island's own greenery, the client's branding throughout, and a 360-degree photo booth that became the talking point of the week.
